Moistop Ultra® 6

Moistop Ultra 6 is the first rated concrete underslab vapor retarder manufactured for residential and light commercial use, to extend the weather protection of the building envelope to the concrete slab. It is part of a complete Moisture Control System for flooring engineered by the Fortifiber Building Systems Group to address both commercial and residential applications.

With a water vapor permeance of .02 perms, and impressive puncture resistance and tensile strength, Moistop Ultra 6 exceeds ASTM E-1745-97 Class "C" requirements for underslab vapor retarders. Manufactured from ISO certified virgin resins through a unique process, Moistop Ultra 6 is strong enough to stand up to most construction traffic without tearing or puncturing. This guarantees that protection against water vapor transmission will be in place long after the pour.
