The Vapo-Wrap® Heat Seal Roll Wrap System
The Vapo-Wrap Heat Seal System has been engineered to offer total flexibility in addressing the unique requirements of each paper mill facility. The system incorporates a patented heat bar technology, which eliminates the issues associated with glue-based packaging systems. It is compatible with all types of roll packaging operations-from completely manual to fully robotic systems.

Our joint technical services teams work closely with our clients to design, install, and scale-up to the correct heat seal system.

Vapo-Grip® Heat Sealable Outside Headers
Vapo-Grip Heat Sealable Roll Headers, available exclusively through Newark Paperboard Products, are designed specifically for the Newark heat platen system. The product utilizes a proprietary system of heat-sealable co-extruded barrier materials that offers better hot tack than standard polyethylene coated materials-to provide superior adhesion and better long term roll protection.

Vapo-Lam Poly Laminated Roll Wrap
Vapo-Lam is a laminated roll wrap stock that is cost-effective and as technically advanced as any roll wrapper stock available on the market today. Manufactured in our Valdosta, GA plant in the heart of the containerboard and resin supply region, this wrap is comprised of two plies of tough kraft linerboard sandwiched together with a high moisture barrier polyolefin layer. The product provides robust protection toprotect rolls of paper during the rigors of storage and shipment. Vapo-Lam offers superior moisture vapor protection due to the proprietary moisture barrier blend. Vapo-Lam is available in the traditional 26# lamination (26/MB/26) and 33# lamination (33/MB/33), as well as a variety of custom laminations to suit specific end-uses.

Vapo-Lam has enhanced crimp areas that allow the crimped wrapper to lie flat, so paper mills can reduce wrap widths and help eliminate crimp mark damage - while reducing costs. The enhanced adhesion of heat sealable roll headers available through our relationship with Newark Paperboard Products, using Fortifiber's proprietary heat seal blend, makes the product easier to use - while its superior performance may eliminate the need for double wrapping on rail and vessel loads. Vapo-Lam roll wrap can be used on existing robotic, automatic, semi-automatic, and manual kraft-based wrapping systems without any modifications to the wrap line.
